Paramount Global Named One of 2024’s Best Places to Work in Los Angeles

Paramount Global is honored to announce that it has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. This prestigious award is presented annually by the Los Angeles Business Journal and the Workforce Research Group. Paramount Global ranked #20 in the medium-sized business category.

The primary purpose of this survey and awards program is to identify, acknowledge, and celebrate the top employers in the Los Angeles region. This recognition not only benefits the county's economy but also enhances the workforce and boosts business growth. Among an exceptional group of 100 distinguished companies, Paramount Global has earned its place as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles for 2024.

Paramount Global has consistently participated in this comprehensive survey, with a notable exception in 2022 when we pivoted our focus towards targeted hiring based on invaluable insights from the 2021 survey. We are truly grateful and honored to be named among the best places to work in Los Angeles for the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, and now, 2024.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

• Have at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Los Angeles County
• Have a physical operation in Los Angeles County
• Are a publicly or privately held organization
• Are a for-profit, not-for-profit, or a government organization
• Have been in business for at least one year

Companies from across the county entered the employer assessment process to determine the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. The first part, which evaluated each nominated company's benefits, policies, practices, and demographics, was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part, an anonymous employee survey designed to measure the employee experience, was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Workforce Research Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Los Angeles, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.

The rankings were announced at the 18th annual “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” awards celebration, hosted by the Los Angeles Business Journal at the Biltmore Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, and were published in the August 12, 2024, issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal.
