Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025 Recap

Paramount Global exhibited for the second time at Packaging Innovations & Empack, and it was an excellent opportunity to connect with potential new partners. The event took place on February 12–13, 2025, at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

This two-day event showcased the entire packaging supply chain, offering attendees a glimpse into the future of packaging solutions. The show was divided into three key segments:

• Packaging Innovations: Primary and secondary packaging solutions

• Empack: The latest machinery and technology in packaging and processing equipment

• Contract Pack & Fulfilment: Contract packaging and fulfillment solutions 

Together, these platforms provided brands with valuable opportunities to network, gain insights, and discover new ways to enhance their packaging strategies.

The event attracted designers and technologists from diverse industries, including food, retail, pharmaceuticals, and personal care. Packaging Innovations served as a hub for business, networking, and trend exploration, while Empack highlighted cutting-edge advancements in packing and filling technology. With buyers and specifiers from sectors such as FMCG, food and beverage, household products, and pharmaceuticals, the exhibition encouraged meaningful connections and industry growth.

With 6,900 attendees and 450 exhibitors, this year’s event was bigger than previous years. The exhibition hall buzzed with companies eager to explore sustainable and innovative packaging solutions. 

We had many discussions about Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations as businesses reevaluate their packaging strategies to meet new sustainability requirements. 

Attendees were thrilled to learn about our services, including stocking agreements and transportation services, and we were excited to introduce our unique solutions to this new market.
