Natural Products Expo 2022 & Packaging Trends

What is Natural Products Expo? Natural Products Expo West is a multi-day event where brands of all sizes from household names to start-ups gather to promote products, network, and gain insight on trends in the natural/organic product space. The trade show focuses on natural products and caters heavily to food, beverage, personal care, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical industries. The event includes a variety of sampling of new products, educational panels on industry trends, and other networking opportunities to connect brands to buyers.

After the show's cancellation in 2020 due to COVID-19 shutdown, it was uncertain when the show would return. After two years, Natural Products was able to return (with safety protocols in place) in 2022. Paramount returned as an exhibitor and it was a much needed opportunity to reconnect in-person with existing customers and also meeting new brands to discuss their packaging challenges.

As an expo focused on natural and sustainable products, sustainable packaging was naturally a common request every year. However, with Covid disrupting the supply chain over the past two years, there was a consistent flow of inquiries for glass packaging and closure options.
